Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

"I've got this theory; there are two kinds of people in the world. There are lyric people and music people. Lyric people are all about the meaning of the song, the ones pouring over the lyrics, interpreting the hell out of everything. And, the music people, who could care less about lyrics as long as there's a good beat to it. It might be easier to be a music person, not a lyric person. But since I'm not, let me say that sometimes things find you when you need them to find you, I believe that. And for me it's usually song lyrics." -One Tree Hill
